“Franklin County was a great host site. The staff was very helpful, informative, kind, and patient, making it a wonderful experience. The donuts and scones were fantastic, and the coffee was strong.

What impressed me most was how they modeled their jails after European systems, with programs focused on rehabilitation. It was especially valuable to observe their approach to medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which involved testing individuals at intake and initiating treatment right away. Ultimately, I think the way they ran their facility was fantastic.”
